Who are we?
The Automation Brokers was founded and is led by Frank Phillips.
Growing up surrounded by manufacturing, after university, he worked across multiple roles in automotive and aerospace manufacturing environments across Europe, primarily in operations management.
In 2019, Frank moved to New Zealand and applied his extensive operational excellence knowledge to assist manufacturing clients nationwide. His experience spans diverse industries, he's helped make everything from sheep skins to rockets.
In 2020, Frank became the first Certified SIRI (Smart Industry Readiness Index) Assessor in Australasia, developing roadmaps for manufacturers adopting technology across their organizations. This initiative led to the 'Smart Factory Assessment' funded by Callaghan Innovation, resulting in over 120 assessments completed nationwide.
Through his years of operations management and consulting, Frank identified key trends and barriers to progress for manufacturers, which led to the creation of Fulcrum.
