Our Projects & Industries

An overview of some of our recent projects

Machine Vision Optimised Cutting

A lumber manufacturer wanted to upgrade their machine vision solution for optimised raw material processing, critical to yield performance. Specifically the client wanted to upskill their internal team with the capabilities to maintain and deploy new machine vision solutions. We scoped the solution and identified the best proposal structure that would meet stringent IP requirements, and matched them to a capable partner within a week.

Automated Infeed

A Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) client identified a bottleneck at the infeed of their filling line. Using our Bronze package, we scoped the project, coordinated all necessary meetings and site visits, and debriefed them on the responses received.

Health & Safety Upgrades

We supported a multinational organization in upgrading legacy equipment to meet New Zealand safety standards, securing the New Zealand supply chain for the coming years. This project involved assisting an overseas procurement team with no exposure to the Australasian market while still meeting their stringent procurement policies.

Automation Architecture

Working with a large metal processing company, we helped scope a project to upgrade and modernize their extensive automation architecture across SCADA, PLC, and field devices. They received a range of competitive responses that aligned with a wider MES and ERP upgrade to enhance their digital transformation and data maturity.

Automated Strapping Cleaning

Contaminated strapping worth over $100k was being left unavailable for use on-site with a large primary processing client. We verified a budget and achieved three high-quality responses under budget to reprocess the strapping, saving over $35k in capital and avoiding significant environmental and financial costs of disposal.

Bespoke Labeling Equipment

Our client had a unique product package that was being manually labeled by two staff members for over four hours per day. The unique size, shape, and consistency of the product made standard labeling equipment unsuitable. We articulated a detailed, outcomes-focused scope alongside the client's project manager, breaking the process down into design and manufacture stages to ensure competitive and comparable proposals.
